A HOLISTIC APPROACH & STRATEGIC VISION FOR PROCESS SOLUTIONS

Providing Thermal Solutions

Immersion Plates

Simple Way to Add Heating or Cooling

Immersion plates are a simple cost-effective solution to add heating or cooling to an existing tank, or for an application where it is best suited that the heat exchanger remains independent for service or replacement convenience. Our plates are specifically designed to effectively use liquid, steam, or refrigerants as the heating or cooling source.

TYPE 5

The TYPE 5 immersion plate is designed for liquid service. This style of plate is equipped with inlet and outlet nozzles of equal size feeding a serpentine path created by integral weld baffles, which run back and forth along the length of the plate. The baffles are positioned evenly apart to provide consistent turbulent flow and pressure drop throughout the plate.

TYPE 6

The TYPE 6 immersion plate is designed for liquid service. This style of plate is equipped with inlet and outlet nozzles of equal size feeding a serpentine path created by integral weld baffles, which run back and forth along the length of the plate. The baffles are positioned evenly apart to provide consistent turbulent flow and pressure drop throughout the plate.

TYPE 7

The TYPE 7 immersion plate is designed for steam service. This style of plate is equipped with a larger steam inlet nozzle feeding the open portion of the plate where the steam or vapor is condensed, while the bottom portion of the plate is configured with a condensate discharge baffle providing a control path for driving out the condensate.

TYPE 8

The TYPE 8 immersion plate is a very versatile plate design that is suitable for most service medias, including steam, liquids, and refrigerants. The open (non-baffled) plate design along with the staggered nozzle arrangement on the ends of the plates works for condensing and evaporating two-phase medias, as well as high flow liquid applications.

TYPE 9

The TYPE 9 immersion plate is designed for steam service. This style of plate is equipped with a larger steam inlet nozzle feeding the open portion of the plate where the steam or vapor is condensed, while the bottom portion of the plate is configured with a condensate discharge baffle providing a control path for driving out the condensate.
